A new MidFlorida Credit Union branch will be replacing the Crazy Papas gas station that was demolished in 2024 at 2800 Bee Ridge Road.
The credit union broke ground on the project in January, and building structures are now visible to drivers. The location is expected to open its doors this summer, according to the banking center’s website.
MidFlorida Credit Union purchased the land for $3.4 million in 2023. It is also opening two other locations in the near future, including one in Fort Myers this summer and another in Gainesville opening in early 2027.
